Google Maps 3D Street View

Google maps is now offering 3D view. This has enabled Google to make it's map service even more realistic than before for the virtual tourist.

Released on the 1st of April it was first perceived by many visitors to be some kind of April fools joke by Google.

This is a view of St Georges Tce, Perth, WA as you can see below the little Icon of man with 3D glasses. Clicking on this will change between 3D and normal view. Like the icon suggests you need a pair of red and blue lense 3D glasses to view the map in 3D.
