Office 365 Home Premium and Google Apps Sync Intergration

If you have Office 365 Home Premium you may have found out that it does NOT come with any cloud based sync for your contacts and calendars like google apps or icloud, this only comes with the business version of Office 365 which carries a more expensive monthly fee.

Office 365 is a click-to-run product. Google apps has always been for non click-to-run eg you installed Office from a CD or ISO. Recently though on the Google Apps sync installer page https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gappssync you will find a link for click to run versions. If you try to install this and you have Office 365 Home Premium you are likely to get a failed to install error message
